The 6th annual OBTC Doctoral Institute (DI) will take place June 9-11, 2008 at Babson College, Wellesley, MA


The OBTC DI is a highly interactive, small-group workshop designed for later-stage doctoral students in the various disciplines of management. Within one of the oldest conferences on management teaching worldwide, the DI offers a unique opportunity in a well-designed, intimate setting to learn the secrets of the best in developing and balancing the teaching skills and scholarly demands of a fulfilling academic career.


Distinguished Faculty

In the 2008 DI, students will spend two days working closely with three distinguished scholars renowned for excellence in teaching and scholarship, Richard Boyatzis, Amy Edmondson, and Denise Rousseau, with superb session facilitation by OBTS distinguished member, Jim Stoner of Fordham University (who also provided superb facilitation for the 2006 and 2007 DI conferences), and mentoring from New Educator Award winner, Amy Kenworthy-U’Ren of Bond University.
